Lou graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from James Cook University in 1994. She has worked primarily as a Family Lawyer since that date. Prior to studying law, Lou was a Social Worker. With the combination of Law and Social Work, Lou understands the many complex issues faced by people experiencing separation. Lou has extensive experience in all aspects of
Family Law, including property matters and child related matters. She
also has experience handling domestic violence matters and child
protection matters. She has been actively involved as a volunteer of
the North Queensland Women's Legal Service for 10 years. In more
recent times she was employed as the Principal Solicitor of the
Service. She will also have the opportunity to follow
her favourite rugby union team, the ACT Brumbies. |
