Nigel Gabbedy has been working as a lawyer since 1990.

Nigel graduated from the University of Tasmania, his home State, with a combined Degree in Commerce and Law and worked for 2 years in a commercial firm in that State before moving to Canberra in 1992.  Nigel then worked in the area of commercial, property and Probate law for a further 3 and a half years before switching to a more mixed practice focused primarily on litigation.

Nigel has worked primarily in the area of personal injury litigation since 1996 and has been a partner of the firm pappas, j - attorney since the 1st of July 1999.  Nigel has a mixed practice and although it is primarily focused on personal injury law, Nigel still practises in the areas of commercial law, wills and probate, conveyancing, industrial disputes and employment law.

Nigel is actively involved in the Army Reserve and has been since 1995.  Nigel is currently serving as a Major in the Army Legal Corp.

Away from work Nigel enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 young boys.  Nigel is a keen supporter of both the ACT Brumbies rugby union team and the St Kilda Saints AFL football team.
